Our Visit to Salt Lake City

I know that it isn't Randys favorite time of the year, but I really look forward to our time in Salt Lake when he has to go to school for a week.  He goes to school and I get to play with the kids and grandkids.  This year we spent some time with each of the kids that live up there for some one on one time.  Monday night we met Jason and Krysten at TGI Fridays and had dinner, then they invited us back to their house to watch the Jazz game.  They don't have the Root TV channel at the hotel so we were excited for the invitation!!  Tuesday we made our way to Amy's house and spent time with her family and had some yummy pulled pork sandwiches she had made in the crockpot.

Wednesday Brandi invited me to have lunch with her and Jonas and then that evening we spent time with Brandi and her little family.  She fixed some yummy cowboy spegetti and then we got to watch another Jazz game...we LOVE the Utah Jazz!!

 Thursday I talked my mom into going DI shopping for canning jars.  We even found her an end table for her living room...which she later found out her friend had donated to the DI several years ago!  That night we met Brandi, Amy and our grandkids at the hotel for a pool party.  We had pizza in the hotel room and then headed to the swimming pool.  Brandi has this awesome new camera that is waterproof and takes amazing video and pictures in and out of the water!  I need to get me one of those!!!!!

It was an amazing week with lots of events crammed into a short amount of time!!  And Randy passed his class.  SWEET!!!!!

I felt really bad last year when I completely forgot to get my camera out and take a picture of dad when we met him and Paula for dinner on his birthday and I wasn't about to let it happen again this year!!!  Happy Birthday dad!  Love you!!!!!

Today Taite and I met my mom in Orem to celebrate her birthday a few days early.  Her big day is actually the 15th but we try to squeeze lunch in sometime that week.  Thanks mom for driving down to Orem so we could spend some time together...and...Happy Birthday!!  Love you!!!

National Archery Championship

It's time again for the National Championships in Las Vegas!   This year Wyatt moved up to the next bracket and competed with kids that were a year older than him...but he still managed to bring home a 3rd place trophy!  Archery is something that he really enjoys and that he is very good at.  I sure hope that's sprite he's drinking in that cup!!!

A Wintery Day in Sanpete

I know I've been complaining about the fact that we haven't had much of a winter here in Sanpete, but this was the lovely view from my car this afternoon down at the Manti temple.  I think winter is finally here...at least for a couple of days!
