Another Year Older!!

When you get to spend the day with all the people you love, it makes it worth getting a whole year older!!!  I decided to drive to Salt Lake to meet Brandi, Amy, Jason and my mom for a birthday lunch.  I thought I would be better for just one of us to drive through that awful traffic and road construction in Utah county!!  It was an AWESOME lunch!!

Then it was back on the road to head home to celebrate with all the rest of my family.  Holly made some yummy chocolate/raspberry cupcakes and we had some homemade peach ice cream.  Everyone that is close to my heart either took time to spend time with me or they called, sent texts or facebooked me.  It was a wonderful day!!

Happy Birthday Dominic

It seems like it was just yesterday we were celebrating Dominic getting baptized and now he is another year older!!  This year Dominic had a new little someone celebrating with him...their new dog Bently.  Me and the new family member got along great.  Infact, he bumped against my bedroom door until he could get it opened and then he climbed on my bed and slept by my feet at the bottom of my bed.  Happy Birthday Dominic and thanks for letting me come celebrate with you!  Love you!!

The New Babies

It's that time of year again when all the new baby calves begin to show up!  This was the first one born this year.  They sure are cute when they are little!!!

Elvis is in the house!!

Ever since Randy got this huge bull elk on his special hunt, Jason has had him hanging on his living room wall.  Jason had those high ceilings and he looked very majestic hanging there.  Well, Jason and Krysten are building a new house so "Elvis" has come to Spring City.  I'm not quite sure where we are going to hang him. With that big rack of horns his head almost touches the floor.  Maybe I can get Randy to build a guest house with high ceilings so he can hang properly!

A Day With Wyatt

Today Wyatt had an archery shoot in Salt Lake. His mom had to work and they had a family baptism with the Nunleys so I volunteered to be his driver for the day.  He was afraid I drove like a grandma so he wanted to leave extra early in the morning so we would make it on time.  Well...we were the first ones there!!!  So much for driving slow!!  He took first place in the shooting competition, which was awesome to watch and I got to spend the whole afternoon with my sweet grandson.  Thanks Wyatt for letting your granny tag along for the day!
